1. DISTRIBUTION
---------------

CLIPQUIK may be distributed via BBSs, online services, the
Internet (FTP, WWW), friends and users groups as long as all files 
are present and unmodified.  It may be sold on diskette or CD-ROM
for a nominal distribution fee, but the author would appreciate
being informed of such distribution so as to provide the vendor
with the most recent version. Diskette and CD-ROM vendors should
direct inquiries to the author at the postal or email addresses
below.


2. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
----------------------

ClipQuik is an easy to use clipboard storage system which enables the 
user to store up to 15 separate clipboard entries at a time. The compact 
tabbed interface allows you to leave ClipQuik visible on the desktop 
while working within other applications.  Text editors and word 
processors, HTML editors, programming tools, etc., etc., etc. ClipQuik 
can be used alongside any program which involves working with text.

3. FREEWARE
------------

This version of ClipQuik is freeware and although it's still extremely 
useful, a few of the more advanced features are disabled. The purchase 
price for the full version is only $9.95 and can be ordered online using 
any major credit card.  Additional features included in the full version 
allow you to save an unlimited number of custom cliplists to disk, 
allowing you to restore specific sets for future use. It can also be 
set to save entries on shut down, restoring them when you restart the 
program, and can open your default web browser to any stored web site

5. INSTALLING CLIPQUIK
----------------------------

Copy all files to a temporary directory and run setup.exe. Follow the 
prompts until the setup process is complete. Be sure that you have the 
necessary VB5 Runtime files installed on your computer before running the 
setup program. (see VB5RUN.txt)


To uninstall:
A) From the Start Menu, choose "Settings" / "Control Panel".
B) Double Click on "Add/Remove Programs".
C) Select "ClipQuik Freeware" from the list box.
D) Click on "Add/Remove"
E) Follow the prompts.
